Piraeus Bank opens third business center for small and medium enterprise clients in Romania
Piraeus Bank has opened its third business center for small and medium enterprises, after the similar center in Bucharest in Constanta, which has helped the bank increase such clients by a third within a year.
The new center is located in Ploiesti and addresses small and medium companies with turnovers between EUR 0.5 mln and EUR 5 mln located in the counties of Buzau, Prahova, Dambovita, Arges and Valcea.
Piraeus plans to open four other centers by the end of this year. The existing three centers serve 550 SME clients, through a team of 60.
The business centers in Romania were opened on a similar model used by the Greek group in Greece, Albania, Bulgaria and Serbia.
