PepsiCo consolidates Balkans division under newly promoted GM who coordinates more markets from Bucharest HQ

Levent Yuksel, currently the vice president and general manager for East & West Balkans with PepsiCo, including Romania, was recently promoted VP GM for Greater Balkans and SEE Franchise, a newly established division within the company.

The division brings together the bottling and snacks divisions of PepsiCo Romania with the snacks divisions in East Balkans – Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova, West Balkans - Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Albania, Slovenia, Montenegro, Kosovo and the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia, adding to these the markets of Greece, Cyprus, Israel and the units of the South East Europe Franchise.

The Greater Balkans business units within PepsiCo will be coordinated from Bucharest, where Yuksel will continue to be based.

Serhan Çelebi, currently Senior Director, Balkans CFO, will become Senior Director, Greater Balkans CFO.

PepsiCo runs two bottling factories in Romania, at Dragomiresti in Ilfov and in Covasna, as well as a snacks factory at Popesti – Leordeni.
