Pedersen & Partners, Roland Berger, NNDKP win first bid for Romania's 'State CEO' program

19 September 2011

An association made of Danish executive search Pederesen & Partners, consulting firm Roland Berger and law firm Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Pedersen (NNDKP) have won the bid organized by Romania's Economy Ministry's for the program 'State CEO'. The consortium will help the Economy Ministry select the executive search companies which will actually select private managers for several state companies. The three companies themselves will not select candidates, but rather prepare the needed documentation to ensure a transparent and efficient reporting system, according to Pedersen & Partners.

The contract is worth some EUR 600,000 over a year, but the company won't be able to cash in more than EUR 120,000 by the end of this year. The bid attracted other competitors too. A consortium made of George Butunoiu and Biris Goran also took part in the bid, along with Agenţia de Servicii Professional.

The state companies Hidroelectrica, Oltchim, Societatea Naţională a Lignitului Oltenia, Electrica Furnizare and Compania Naţională Romarm will all have private management, according to the Romanian Ministry of Economy.
