Okian launches first e-fulfillment platform in Romania with EUR 0.5 mln investment

24 February 2014

Okian, one of the largest book retailers in Romania, has launched the e-fulfillment platform Frisbo, following total investments of EUR 500,000, the company has announced.

The new platform took over the management of two online stores, namely the newly launched Leonardo.com.ro and the book store Okian.ro, together with its new expansion in the US - Okian.com.

Bogdan Colceriu, CEO Frisbo, estimates that the platform will run orders of over EUR 1 million in the first year, only for the two stores in the current portfolio.

E-fulfillment is the service through which an operator takes over the entire process of order fulfillment in the name of an online store, from storage to taking orders, packing and delivery, or even website management based on cloud systems of management, reports and tracking orders.

In the e-fulfillment system, the client pays according to the success of the online store. Prices are based on the orders taken or the goods stored, the operational costs being directly proportional to the sales.
