The number of passengers who transited Bucharest’s airports in 2014 recorded an 8.8% increase compared to 2013, reaching a record of more than 8.32 million.

Aircraft movements (landings and take-offs) also increased by 6%, reaching 102,048, according to the Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB), reports local Agerpres.

The Henri Coanda International Airport (AIHCB) had 8.31 million passengers and 91,788 aircraft movements last year, while the rest were registered on the Baneasa-Aurel Vlaicu International Airport (AIBB AV).
