New Europe Property Investments to be listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange on June 20

South African investment fund New Europe Property Investments (NEPI) will be listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) starting Monday, June 20, according the Bucharest Stock Exchange. This will be the first listing of a real-estate fund on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The shares issued by NEPI on the BVB, will be listed in the “Other international financial instruments” segment, in the A Category.

Real estate fund's retail portfolio includes 11 assets with a total area of ​​101,000 sqm, valued at EUR 148 million, representing 50 percent of the annual gross income from rents, on December 31, 2010. The office portfolio of NEPI includes 20 properties with a total area of ​​84,500 sqm, valued at EUR 144.8 million, while the industrial portfolio is composed of a 23,000 sqm industrial property in Rasnov, Romania and a logistics property of 4,800 sqm in Bucharest, Romania. On December 31, 2010, the two properties were valued at EUR 17.3 million and represented 6 percent of the annual gross income from rents.

The real estate fund is also listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange.

The South-African investment fund is one of the most active real estate investors in Romania, its biggest asset being Promenada Mall Braila, which covers 53,000 sqm.
