The marathon starts on October 31 from UniCredit’s headquarters in Bucharest, and the participants are to reach Sofia on November 3. The event will end on November 10 in Romania’s capital.

1000km Balkan Charity Challenge managed to raise almost EUR 120,000 in three editions. Every participant and volunteer has to raise at least EUR 150. Companies are also invited to support the marathon and contribute to the financing of the 12 humanitarian projects. Donations can be made on 1000balkan.com.
