A man managed to escape from the Bucharest Police arrest using a movie-like method. The man, who was arrested for theft, managed to get out of the detention center by stealing the identity of another man who was about to be released.

He got dressed in the other man’s clothes, stole his identity documents and, taking advantage of the physical resemblance, managed to trick the police officers into letting him go, reports local Digi24.

The man is now wanted and the police are trying to figure out how this situation was possible.

Update: The man who escaped from the Bucharest Police using someone else's identity was caught on Wednesday. He was taken in custody and will be investigated for escape and identity theft.
