Lingerie brand La Perla will open a store in Bucharest, on Calea Victoriei at no. 118, according to information from the company. The store in Bucharest is labeled as 'coming soon'. It is not the first time a La Perla store has opened in Bucharest – two years ago there was another, unsuccessful attempt, according to Ziarul Financiar. On the Romanian market, it will compete with brands like Jolidon, Calzedonia and ID Sarrieri.

The first La Perla store was opened in 1954 in Bologna, by Ada Masotti. The network currently has stores all over the world, while La Perla collections are also sold in major department and specialty stores.
