H&M Romania to open a 1,800 sqm store in Immofinanz' Maritimo Shopping Center

Swedish retailer H&M will open a new store this autumn in Maritimo Shopping Center in Constanta, owned by the Austrian group Immofinanz. The lease signed with H&M covers a ​​1,800 sqm area of the 50,000 sqm in the shopping center, according to Immofinanz.

Maritimo Shopping Center has been under construction since 2007 and the completion was originally planned for 2009. The shopping center includes, among others, an Auchan hypermarket, Inditex brands, a C&A store, New Yorker, Deichmann, Domo, Flanco and Humanic stores.

Immofinanz is one of the five largest listed property companies in Europe, with a portfolio of 1,600 properties and a market value of EUR 8.5 billion. In Romania, the group owns properties valued at about EUR 1 billion.
