German group Anvis expands factory in Satu Mare, Romania, adds 100 new jobs

German company Anvis, which manufactures rubber components for the auto industry, announced it will expand its factory in Satu Mare, in the North-West of Romania.

It plans to add 100 new jobs in the coming years to the 200 employees the company already has there, according to an announcement from Anvis.

The factory in Satu Mare produces anti-vibration systems, which isolate vibrating parts in vehicles, for carmakers such as Renault, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Daimler. So far, about 20 million pieces have been produced annually.

“The increasing capacity meets the growing needs of our customers in the region”, Olaf Hahn, CEO of the Anvis Group, explained.

Anvis ROM started operating in 2003. The turnover in 2013 amounted to nearly EUR 32 million. With more than 200 employees Anvis ranks among the main employers in Satu Mare.

The Anvis Group generates sales of over EUR 300 million at 13 locations worldwide. In 2013, the Anvis Group was taken over by Japanese group Tokai Rubber Industries (TRI).
