German cosmetic and consumer goods network dm drogerie markt has recently opened a new store in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This is the third unit opened in Cluj, after stores in Galeria Real and Winmarkt Complex.

The German network entered the Romanian market in 2007 with a store in Timisoara. Currently, it runs 40 stores across the country with areas between 300 sqm and 500 sqm each.

The dm drogerie markt group currently has over 2,000 stores and 11,000 employees worldwide and posted total sales of EUR 5.6 billion in 2009-2010 fiscal year.
