Former Mivan Kier wins EUR 7.7 mln litigation against construction company in Romania

Mivan-Kier Joint Venture Limited, now called Rathenraw Limited, has recently won a EUR 7.7 million litigation against a Turkish construction company which had an undertaking contracts for the NewTown Residence project in Bucharest, according to Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii, the law firm which represented Rathenraw Limited.

Turkish Biat Inșaat Sanayi San. Ve Tic. A.S will have to pay Rathenraw Limited EUR 7.7 million as it did not comply with its responsibilities of an undertaking contract from 2007 for NewTown Residence. The litigation procedures started in 2009.

Rathenraw Limited is the association between Mivan group and Kier International.
