Former Brazilian star Rivaldo’s son joins Romanian team Dinamo Bucharest

Rivaldinho, the son of former Brazilian football star Rivaldo, is the new striker of Romanian team Dinamo Bucharest. The 21-year old footballer signed a contract with Dinamo until June 2020, the club announced on Tuesday.

Born in Sao Paolo, Rivaldinho started his career at Mogi Mirim Esporte Clube, a lower-league Brazilian club. He transferred to Portuguese club Boavista Porto in 2015, where he only stayed one season, after which he returned to Brazil.

His father, Rivaldo, was one of the stars of Brazil’s national team that played a world cup final in 1998 and won the 2002 World Cup, alongside Ronaldo and Ronaldinho. He was also one of the stars of FC Barcelona, where he played from 1997 until 2002, winning two Spanish La Liga titles. He then moved to AC Milan, where helped the Italian team win the UEFA Champions League.
