English actor and musician Hugh Laurie, who played the leading character of American series House, will perform in Romania this summer, according to an announcement posted on the artist’s official website.

The gig in Bucharest is part of the European tour with The Copper Bottom Band and will take place at Romexpo Sala Palatului, on July 12.

Hugh Laurie is an English actor, comedian, writer, musician, and director. Between 2004 and 2012, he played the leading character of American series House, for which he received two Golden Globe awards, two Screen Actors Guild awards and six Emmy nominations.

After the success of his debut blues album Let Them Talk, Hugh Laurie launched his second album Didn’t It Rain on May 6, 2013.
