Paint and thermo sealants producer Fabryo Corporation - Atlas Paints has started work on a new factory in Romania, at Popeşti-Leordeni near Bucharest, which should be ready in October 2014. The company, which already runs a factory at Popesti Leordeni, and one in Tunari, decided to build a new factory as its mortar sales were up three-fold in the first five months of this year, according to its CEO Dragos MIlitaru.

The group made of Fabryo Corporation and Atlas Paint ended 2012 with a turnover of some EUR 39 million, and wanted to increase it by 10 percent in 2013, while the increase target for this tear is of at least 5 percent on 2013.

Fabryo-Atlas Paints has 440 employees and is controlled by Swedish investment fund Oresa Ventures, and by Chroma Holdings. The group was created by merging the two companies in the beginning of 2013.
