Romania has all the odds to become a winner after the end of the economic crisis, given the austerity measures it has taken, which have already started to yield results, said Andreas Treich, the executive president of Erste Bank, during a recent meeting with Romanian president Traian Basescu. Treichl, who was in Romania at the same time as BCR, the Erste Group majority owned bank in Romania announced a new CEO and further changes to the management team, talked about Erste Bank's activity in Romania with president Basescu. Treichl underlined Erste Bank's commitment to develop its operations in Romania.
