Credit Europe Bank names new president in Romania

Yakup Cil has been promoted to president of Credit Europe Bank in Romania.

Formerly vice president, Cil will take on his new job once given approval by the Romanian Central Bank (BNR).

Yakup Cil has been part of the bank's executive management since 2011, when he was named head of the corporate division.

Later on, he became a vice-president. Before joining the bank in Romania, he was director and then associate vice-president of Credit Europe Bank in Russia.

Yakup Cil, 38, graduated the Economy and Administrative Sciences Faculty in Ankara.
