Colliers lands contract to manage GE Capital Real Estate’s Olympian logistics parks in Romania

Colliers International is the new property manager of the Olympian logistics parks in Romania, the 45,000 sqm industrial portfolio owned by GE Capital Real Estate and Helios Phoenix, according to the company.

Olympian Parks consist of two industrial centers in Romania’s Timisoara and Brasov. The 27,000 sqm project was opened in Timisoara in the second quarter of 2011, while the logistics park in Brasov, located at 8 km away from the city, offers 17,880 sqm of warehouse space.

After launching the Department of Property Management earlier this year, Colliers International also won the mandate for the property manager of an office building developed by Allianz Tiriac.

Phoenix Real Estate has been active in Romania since 2001, and developed over 60,000 sqm of warehouse and logistic facilities in Romania. GE Real Estate currently has over EUR 2 billion invested in Central and Eastern Europe, in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey.
