Bucharest sees first snow of the season

The first snow of the season started falling in Bucharest on Friday morning (December 10), while snowing has taken over most of Romania during the last 24 hours. Meteorologists have issued a yellow code for snow valid until the beginning of the week-end. Snow falling has already caused several national roads across the country closing down.

The temperatures will start decreasing and will stay between 2 and 6 degrees Celsius in the southern region of Romania. In Transylvania, the maximum temperature will stay between minus 3 degrees Celsius and 2 degrees Celsius.
