The Bucharest District 4 City Hall will temporarily move its headquarters in the Grand Arena shopping complex on the Metalurgiei Boulevard, reports local Profit.ro.

Its former headquarters will undergo consolidation and renovation. Once work is done, the city hall will move back to its old HQ.

The authorities chose the new headquarters via a tender, with the shopping center asking for the lowest rent.

Opened in 2009, Grand Arena is located in southern Bucharest, in the Berceni neighbourhood. Its anchor is the French retailer Carrefour.
