The Bucharest Municipality recently signed the contract for strengthening and upgrading the State Jewish Theater building. The value of the contract is some RON 11.5 million (around EUR 2.5 million), without VAT, reports local Mediafax.

Five companies placed bids. The contract, which has a duration of 18 months, was awarded to SCIT Impex SRL.

Works include strengthening the structure, replacing interior and exterior carpentry, restoring the interior and the electrical, heating and lighting systems, as well as replacing the boiler.
