Big Four consultancy groups Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, together with consultants from Mazars and Milliman will evaluate the assets and liabilities of 13 local insurers, in a contract worth EUR 2.7 million.

The Financial Supervisory Authority has selected them to carry out the evaluations by June 30 this year, within the Balance Sheet Review and Stress Test program.

The consultants will also test the insurers’ stress resistance.

Mazars Romania will evaluate Astra Asigurari, Generali Romania and Omniasig VIG;  EY  will be responsible for the insurers Allianz-Tiriac Asigurari, Groupama Romania, Uniqa Asigurari and Asirom VIG; PwC will evaluate PAID Romania, Carpatica Asig and Exim Romania; KPMG Audit will test Euroins Romania and AXA Life Romania, whereas Deloitte will be responsible for ING Asigurari de Viata.

Miliman will take care of the consultancy contract for the stress test and the prudentiality conditions.

Consultancy groups Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PwC are informally called the Big Four.
