BestJobs survey: Only 40% of white-collar employees in RO don’t use remote or hybrid work

30 June 2023

Currently, of Romanian white-collar employees, 28% work in a hybrid system, while another 40% go to the office on a daily basis, according to the latest survey conducted by the online recruitment platform BestJobs.

At the same time, about a third of employees work exclusively remotely.

During the pandemic, 7 out of 10 respondents to the BestJobs survey worked from home or in a hybrid formula.

Thus, data indicate that very few employees have returned to the classic working style, which involves going to the office daily.

Moreover, companies had to adapt, introducing new facilities or flexible working options to attract people back to the office.

In this regard, 14% of respondents say that the employer allows them to work from home for limited periods, 26% in a hybrid regime, and 21% indefinitely.

The flexibility of the way they work has become so important that 60% of respondents said that they themselves (27%) or their colleagues have considered changing their job for this reason, opting for one that allows them to work as they want.
