After takeover by Malideros and rebranding of OSHO Fish as Retsina, OSHO chain targets 30% turnover increase

20 March 2014

The former OSHO Fish restaurant – re-branded as Retsina, a Mediterranean place – and OSHO Steak expect a growth by a third this year, following the change in ownership at the end of last year. The new owner, Georgios Malideros, expects Retsina to generate 40 percent of the total turnover.

After the takeover, Malideros, whose family founded the Mega Image concept, invested EUR 180,000 in the two restaurants, and mostly in rebranding OSHO Fish into Retsina.

Romanian entrepreneur Florin Radulescu, who founded the Osho restaurant and butchery back in 2010, sold the place to a company run by Georgios Malideros.

Osho’s founder expected the restaurant to reach a turnover of EUR 2.8 million this year, after EUR 2.5 million in 2012. After the sale, Radulescu will focus on his other business, AVI Compact, which supplies acclimatization solutions and installations.
