A&D Pharma's Anima clinics chain expands with Diagnosis acquisition in Romania

Private medical clinics Anima Specialty Medical Services, part of A&D Pharma group, recently bought over 70 percent in the Diagnosis clinics chain in Romania, reads a statement from the company. Anima, which runs seven clinics in Bucharest, took control of the two Diagnosis clinics from the Gemisa investment fund, the majority shareholder. Following this transaction, the company expects a turnover of up to EUR 5 million in 2012. The value of the transaction has not been announced.

Diagnosis has a total of 30 doctors and over 50,000 occupational medicine subscribers, taking Anima’s portfolio to around 100,000 subscribers.

KPMG, CEC Bank, UniCredit Tiriac Bank, Actavis, Alpha Bank, Astra, Omniasig, Orange, and Allianz are some of Anima-Diagnosis’ corporate clients.
