Henry Schein, a US healthcare product and service distributor, has agreed to buy the import and distribution company for veterinary drugs Maravet in northern Romania.

The transaction is estimated at EUR 25-30 million, reports local Mirsanu.ro. The price includes the payment of EUR 20 million for the company’s shares plus taking over the firm’s debts.

Maravet, which was founded in 1998, posted in 2013 a EUR 22.7 million turnover and a net profit of EUR 2.3 million.
