Two new stores for Turkish retailer in Romania

Turkish fashion retailer Koton will open two stores in the Iulius shopping centers in Iasi and Timisoara this spring, according to Iulius Group, which owns the two malls, reports local Ziarul Financiar.

The Koton store in Iasi will stretch over 1,800 sqm, while the Koton store in Timisoara will have 1,200 sqm.

The Turkish brand, which currently operates two stores in Bucharest and Ploiesti, enters for the first time these two markets.

Iulius Mall Iasi and Timisoara are part of a network of four shopping centers under the brand Iulius, with additional units in Cluj and Suceava, all of which owned by businessman Iulian Dascalu. He also owns the multifunctional real-estate project Palas Iasi.
