The weather changes in Romania

After almost two months of high temperatures and sun, the weather is changing in Romania.

The meteorologists issued a code yellow of heavy rain and strong winds, valid between August 17, 16:00, and August 18, 23:00.

The alert targets 32 counties in Romania, namely Satu Mare, Maramures, Suceava, Botosani, Salaj, Cluj, Bistrita Nasaud, Neamt, Iasi, Alba, Mures, Harghita, Bacau, Vaslui, Hunedoara, Sibiu, Brasov, Covasna, Vrancea, Galati, Caras-Severin, Gorj, Valcea, Argeș, Dambovita, Prahova, Buzau, Braila, Giurgiu, Ilfov, Ialomita, and Calarasi, as well as the capital Bucharest.

Meteorologists expect rain, strong winds and even hail in some areas. The quantities of water will exceed 20 liters per sqm, and even 40-50 liters per sqm in the mountains.
