Romanian telecom operator Telekom has put up for sale and partially sublet a package of 24 real estate properties in Bucharest and seven other cities.

The starting price is EUR 26.3 million. Independent evaluators determined the package value. The winner will be established by an auction, based on the best price and some other relevant conditions.

Those interested can submit bids for the whole package of 24 properties or a sub-package of 17 properties, by July 16.

Telekom will invest the money in telecom activities. In 2014, the company sold 28 of its assets, receiving EUR 11.6 million.

Telekom Romania Communications is 54%-owned by Deutsche Telekom via Greek group OTE while 46% of its shares are held by the Romanian Ministry of Informational Society.
