Romania's Transport Ministry to sell 5% stake in seven state companies

The Romanian Transport Ministry estimates it will make about EUR 3.2 million this year by selling 5% of its shares in seven state-owned companies.

These include the Bucharest Airports National Company, the Maritime Ports Administration Constanta, the International Airport Mihail Kogalniceanu in Constanta, the International Airport Traian Vuia Timisoara, the National Company Administration of Navigable Canals Constanta, the Maritime Danube Ports Administration Galati and The Ports Administration of the Fluvial Danube from Giurgiu, reports local Mediafax.

The Ministry had to complete the listings proceedings by December 31, last year, but it asked to extend the deadline to June 30, 2016.
