The Health Ministry will have access to the official fact sheets on cosmetic products sold on the Romanian market.

The Ministry can ask for their analysis and can ask for a product withdrawal from the market if health norms are violated, reports local Mediafax.

The Government approved on Tuesday, February 10, a draft on the Health Ministry’s attribution on the cosmetics market.

The Romanian state also has to report and send information to the European Commission.

If producers, distributors or retailers fail to comply with health norms, the Ministry can withdraw the product or even forbid it.
