Romania’s Baccalaureate exam for high school graduates starts today

The Baccalaureate exam, which is compulsory for high school graduates who want to go to university, starts today (Tuesday, June 10) with the oral evaluation for the Romanian language.

The exam will continue with evaluations for digital competences and oral evaluation for a foreign language. On June 30 the first written exam will be held, for Romanian language. The last evaluation will be on July 4, and on July 11 final results will be published.

In previous years, the results for the Baccalaureate exam were poor. Last year, just 56 percent of Romanian high school graduates passed the exam.
