Romanians pay more for food and fuel in November 2011 compared to previous year
Compared to the previous month, the retail business in Romania dropped by 1 percent in November 2011, due to decreases in the retail trade of automotive fuel in specialized stores – down 7.6 percent, and sales of food, beverages and tobacco – down 1.8 percent, according to INS. In gross numbers, the turnover for retail trade decreased by 2.3 percent compared to October 2011.
