Romanian retailer Profi opened another five stores in the country last week. The largest of them is located in Braila and covers some 526 sqm. The store located in Lupeni, Hunedoara county, has some 515 sqm.

The other three units, located in Mahmudia, Tulcea county, Negresti, Vaslui county and Sacalaz, Timis county, were all opened under the Profi Loco brand. In August, Profi inaugurated a new store concept for rural areas in Romania under the Loco brand.

Profi has about 8,000 employees and 355 stores which operate in 168 places in Romania. It is the retailer with the largest geographical coverage in the country.
