Romanian OMV Petrom’s gas sales increase by 5%
Romanian oil & gas company OMV Petrom’s natural gas sales rose 5% year-on-year in the last quarter of 2014. They went from 13.56 TWh to 14.31 TWh.
The hydrocarbon production went up to 182,000 barrel oil equivalent (boe) per day in the same period, from 181,000 boe, reports local Mediafax.
The Austrian group OMV, OMV Petrom’s majority shareholder, increased its gas sales by 24% in the last three months of 2014, from 118.4 TWh to 147.19 TWh.
The group’s performance on electricity was affected by the dire conditions in Romania.
OMV Petrom runs an 860 MW power plant and a wind park in Romania.
