Romanian healthcare operator Regina Maria hopes for EUR 67 mln turnover

18 February 2015

Private healthcare operator Regina Maria posted a EUR 55 million turnover last year, up 19% over 2013.

The company plans to grow to EUR 67 million in 2015, by opening new clinics. It will first open a 1,200-sqm clinic in Iasi, in eastern Romania, following a EUR 1.4 million investment.

The healthcare operator does not want to purchase small players because it has had an organic and sustainable growth in the past, said Fady Chreih, executive director of Regina Maria, cited by local Ziarul Financiar.

The company focused in 2014 on its three hospitals, where doctors carried out about 4,600 interventions, excluding births.
