Romanian Danube ports receive EUR 15 mln investments
The state will invest about EUR 15.7 million in the Giurgiu port complex, along with the Bechet and Corabia ports.
The investment in the Giurgiu port complex is worth EUR 5.2 million and will last 18 months, reports local Mediafax.
The investments in the Corabia and Bechet ports will be of EUR 5.3 million, and EUR 5.1 million respectively, and will last 27, and 33 months.
The ports are managed by the Danube River Port Administration, in which the Transport Ministry has an 80% share while the investment fund Fondul Proprietatea has the remaining 20% stake.
