Romanian brick producer wants to build up turnover by 40%

Local brick producer Cemacon Cluj-Napoca aims to increase its turnover by at least 40% in 2015. The company’s revenues grew by 31% last year, mainly due to the sale of finished products.

The operating income went up by 25%, leading to a 43% growth in the operational profitability.

The company climbed from the 8th place among local brick producers in 2010 to the 3rd place in 2014, said Liviu Stoleru, CEO of Cemacon.

It also increased its turnover from EUR 5 million to EUR 14 million, and its market share from 6.7% to 17.5%.
