The Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) has received three bids for the purchase of IT equipments which will allow key state institutions’ databases to interconnect. The contract is estimated at EUR 15.8 million.

The joint ventures which submitted bids are: Logika IT Solutions, Datanet Systems, Siveco România and Logic Computer; Asseco SEE Romania, Asseco Lietuva UAB, Oracle Romania and Mware Solutions; and Datanet Systems and Mira Telecom, reports local Mediafax.

The 7-month contract will be financed with non-reimbursable European funds.

The contract involves the purchase of software and information systems, network routers, servers, software development services, as well as training services.
