Romania ranks high for price to performance in communications

03 November 2015

Romania ranks third among the countries where the price-performance ratio in communications is competitive, according to data presented by Varujan Pambuccian, a member of the Commission for Information Technologies and Communications within the Chamber of Deputies.

The metropolitan networks and the existence of small operators have taken the competition very high, said Pambuccian cited by local Agerpres.

An organization such as InterLAN, which represents these operators, guaranteed that the competition among them has been kept at a good level, said Pambuccian. InterLAN organized the conference RONOG 2015 (Romanian Network Operators Group) at the end of October.

Romania currently has some of the highest fixed broadband internet speeds in the world.
