The Finance Ministry announced that it has increased the salaries of 5,700 employees within the Tax Agency ANAF and the Finance Ministry by 22% on average.

The measure hasn’t been provided in the second budget amendment, but was later announced in a Government meeting.

The leader of the National Union Confederation Cartel Alfa Bogdan Hossu said that the salaries in the public finance sector have been actually increased by over 50%, reports local Profit.ro. However, sources from the Labour Ministry said that the wage increase amounted to 62.5%.
