Romania gets EUR 31.8 mln to help young people find jobs

Romania will benefit this year from European funds worth EUR 31.8 million for young people employment.

The amount for Romania has increased from EUR 1.5 million after the European Parliament has approved the EUR 1 billion increase for the programs in this sector, said MEP Iuliu Winkler.

In Romania, this initiative will finance measures such as guidance and counseling, vocational training, personalized assistance in looking for a job, apprenticeships and support for the establishment of new companies.

Romania is one of the 20 member states which benefits from this program in 2015.
