Romania collects higher budget revenues in first half of the year

Romania’s Tax Administration ANAF collected some EUR 20 billion in budget revenues to the state budget in the first half of 2014, which was some EUR 670 million more year-on-year, according to Agerpres.

Over half of the revenues were collected by the Large Taxpayers Management Direction, while the Bucharest Regional Public Finance Unit cashed in some EUR 3.5 billion.

The largest amounts were collected in the Constanta county – some EUR 586 million, followed by Cluj, Prahova and Brasov. The lowest amount was collected in Calarasi – some EUR 60 million. In Bucharest, some EUR 3 billion in taxes were collected.
