Raiffeisen Evolution to inaugurate Bucharest's new shopping center Promenada in October

Austrian developer Raiffeisen Evolution will inaugurate its new Promenada shopping Center in Bucharest, Floreasca area, on October 17 this year, it recently announced.

Following a total investment of EUR 130 million, the project, started in 2011 and built by construction company Strabag, will have a leasable area of 35,000 sqm.

Tenants in Bucharest's new shopping center will include Peek & Cloppenburg, Promod, Roberto Bravo , Sabon, Sephora, Starbucks, Stradivarius, Swarovski, Zara and Zara Home, H & M, Stefanel, Tommy Hilfiger, among others. The food court will welcome tenants including KFC, Lasafi, McDonald's, Scandia Sibiu, Imbiss Grill, Chopstix La Fattoria or Oliva. A playground will be operated by Gymboland. The shopping center will also have a 7,000 sqm outdoor terrace with cafes, Japanese gardens, and a plaza around the fountain, among others. During the winter the terrace will serve as outdoor skating rink, and during the winter holidays it will also host Christmas fairs.

"Promenada will become a new landmark of northern Bucharest, offering the public an attractive mix of tenants, and new retail concepts in Bucharest, as well as an outdoor terrace with an area of ​​over 7,000 sq m green garden during summer and a skating rink during the winter season, where each class of customers will be able to choose where to forget the hustle and bustle of the city, "said Markus Neurauter, Managing Director of Raiffeisen Evolution.

Access to the six-floored Promenada can be made from Calea Floreasca, as well as from Barbu Vacarescu boulevard.

The shopping center adjoins the office tower Sky Tower, also developed by Raiffeisen Evolution. Active in Romania since 2003, the developer already developed ans sold two other projects, Oracle Tower and Floreasca City Center Office, all located in the office district near the Aurel Vlaicu metro station in Northern Bucharest.
