Prime Minister Victor Ponta presented the Romanian economy’s recent evolutions to various US companies during his recent visit in the US.

He also talked about the international listing of big Romanian companies such as Petrom, Romgaz or Electrica, reports local Mediafax.

The meeting, which was organized by a local NGO, included representatives of the California-based Parsons Corporation, NBC Universal, Ethan Allen Corporation or East West Institute, among many other companies.

Prime Minister also met US multinationals such as Boeing, Coca-Cola, ExxonMobile or MoneyGram.

The US Trade Department will send an economic mission to Romania in May.
