Over half of Romanian businesses deem tax system positive

Over half of the representatives in the local business system have a positive perception of the tax system in Romania, according to a survey conducted by Deloitte Romania.

“The survey shows that 58.4% of business representatives consider the fiscal environment is a positive one, with major changes, and 7.8% sees it as being positive with minor changes,” said Dan Badin, managing partner of tax and legal services Deloitte Romania, cited by local Agerpres.

He added that the business environment expects simplicity, fairness and predictability from those who make fiscal decisions.
