More Romanian Dacia cars registered in France

Registrations of Romania’s car brand Dacia in France increased by 18.2% year-on-year in the first 11 months of this year, to 94,366 units, exceeding last year’s level of 93,800 units, according to data from the French Automobile Manufacturers Association, cited by local Bursa.ro.

Dacia’s market share in France increased to 5.78% in January-November this year, from 4.94% in the same period in 2013.

Lancia and Jeep were the two brands that registered higher increases in registrations than the Romanian brand, but with lower sales. Lancia recorded an increase of 36.9%, to 5,790 units, while Jeep’s registrations went up 80.2% to 1,986 cars.

Renault group registered an increase of 7.6% in the first 11 months.
