Marks & Spencer relocates two stores in Romania

Fashion retailer Marks & Spencer, which has been present on the Romanian market since 2000, will close two of its Bucharest stores, one in the AFI Palace Cotroceni mall this month and one in the Sun Plaza mall in February, but will open two new stores in the Mega Mall shopping center and in another center in Bucharest the company did not provide details about.

The first store, with an area of 1,650 sqm, will open in the Mega Mall shopping center, in the east part of Bucharest, in April, reports local Ziarul Financiar.

The second store, stretching over 1,600 sqm, will also open in April, and will be located in another important commercial center in Bucharest, company representatives say.

The company posted a EUR 60 million turnover last year. It has been running its stores in Romania directly since 2012.
