IT company iQuest relocates its Romanian HQ in Cluj-Napoca

German IT company iQuest wants to hire new people for its new headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, north-western Romania.

The company, which currently has 600 employees in Romania, wants to increase staff by the end of the year and move its Romanian headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, in a downtown 6,000 sqm office building. It is looking for Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Business Developers and Project Managers.

iQuest now has about 380 employees in its Cluj-Napoca center and 130 employees in its Brasov center. It also has smaller offices in Sibiu and Craiova.

iQuest posted a EUR 26.8 million turnover in 2014, up 7% over the previous year. It also added 15 new clients to its portfolio.
The Technology segment registered the highest turnover increase of 69%, followed by Life Sciences - 18% and Telecom - 14%.

The company also announced that Cornelius Brody, iQuest’s founder, will take over as Chairman of the Board while Jürgen Samuel will be the company's new CEO. Samuel previously worked in large German tech companies, such as Sicap AG, Siemens IT Services, Oracle Germany and Sony Germany.
